Eco-Friendly

Water-Management

  • Increasing awareness with posters in the sanitary facilities, and through articles in the welcome booklet calling for reducing water consumption.
  • Watering at night only in the spring to ensure a successful start for the flowers.
  • Implementation of rainwater recovery for continued watering of the flower beds.
  • Washtubs for dishes are provided at the common area sinks to avoid letting the water run.

Energy Management

  • Domestic hot water is produced by solar panels.
  • The reasonable use of a CMV for air ventilation is encouraged. The system works based on humidity levels (giving an incentive to keep doors closed).
  • Encouraging the use of washing machines on the eco program, fully loaded and with minimal use of the tumble dryer; promoting the use of the clothes horse.
  • Using energy-saving lamps and avoiding unnecessary illumination

Waste sorting

  • Increasing campers' awareness of sorting procedures.
  • Battery and plug collection in addition to the other waste receptacles.
  • Compost for organic waste
  • We offer regional and local products: wines, beers, vinegar, honey, soaps, and fruit juice.

Spatial environnement

  • Native species of hedges mark the separate campsite
  • Native and perennial species are favored for flowerbeds
